How to find your life purpose?
Everyone has to answer the question for themselves. There is no such thing as a “default” life purpose, and there are no boilerplate answers. Each single of us has to find our own purpose after going through challenges we encounter on our path, looking for hints and interpreting meanings of everyday life events.
Even though searching for your life purpose may sound like a heavyweight scary undertaking, you have the power to “feel your way through life” and instead make it an adventure. Each of us comes to this planet as a happy, excited, curious and adventurous child. We are eager to explore, to learn and to discover.
With the passage of time, a happy little child may become an adult whose mind is confused. Pressures of modern society, other people’s opinions and prejudices can bring us to the point where we lose the connection with our inner self. Over years, we may suppress ourselves so much, giving more importance to the outside world, we end up losing connection to our soul - to this inner voice that used to guide us. This is when we often question the purpose of our life journey.
Now, take a trip back in time and meet your teenage self - right when you were eager to discover the world: maybe you wanted to break away and “do it all your own way”.
When you realign with your younger self, ask the question on where this younger version of yourself wants to be in life. Remember, this younger version of yourself does not know the constraints placed by your present mind or society. This version of you thinks freely and is not limited by all the “reputable” junk authoritative figures and media bestowed upon you throughout your life journey.
Are you where your younger self wanted to see you? Are you living the life aligned with the pure picture your younger version craved for? Are you treating other souls around you the way you wanted to be treated?
The truth is your younger self, intuition and your emotions serve as a compass pointing you towards your life purpose. You know how something inside may tell you what is right or wrong to do? If over the years, you keep turning left when your inner self asks you to turn right, you walk away from your soul and also - your life purpose.
Listen to the guidance your emotions and your younger self are giving you so you start aligning with your life purpose and more importantly - with your true self.
